As NBC News reported, Christian tragically died in a Carribean plane crash on Thursday, January 4, 2024, at the age of 51.
According to a Facebook post from the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force, the small, one engine plane took off from the J.F. Mitchell Airport in Paget Farm before crashing into the sea one nautical mile west of Petit Nevis.
The three other people aboard included the pilot Robert Sachs and Christian's two young daughters, all of whom were also killed.
Coast Guard personnel recovered the four bodies before they were pronounced dead by a medical practitioner.
Their causes of death are not yet known, and the investigation is ongoing.
On January 1, Christian had posted a New Year's photo to Instagram that featured a sunset on a beach.
