SEARCHING for an appropriate, sophisticated frock for a garden wedding, a guest shared her options with Reddit users.

Because she isn’t very knowledgeable on style, she was hoping they could guide her.

Posting to Reddit, the woman said she hasn’t bought herself a new dress in years but was ready to step up her game for an upcoming April garden wedding.

But, she needed some advice.

“I don’t really dress well in general... but I have been wanting to dress more sophisticated, and I’m also really drawn to whimsical stuff,” she wrote in the post.

There were five options she was considering.

“Can y’all help me pick one that would be flattering but still appropriate for this wedding? Or should I keep looking?”

She shared photos of herself for “color analysis” and body type reference, adding that she is about 5-foot-3 and 145 pounds.

The first option she shared featured a boned corset top and tea-length bottom.

But while she loved it – especially the pocket feature – she worried it was inappropriate.

“Might be too booby?” she wondered.

Her second option, a floral mini, was her “favorite,” because she felt it was more sophisticated.

It had puffed short sleeves and a built-in belt.

Option three was a bit more feminine and frilly, and she said she loved it because it was “Bo Peep whimsy.”

She called the mini in option four “super sophisticated,” and said although option five was only $20 from Shein, she thought the photos and reviews looked good.

Reddit users shared their thoughts.

“I like dress four. First dress is very booby. If you were small chested, it would probably look less Renaissance fair, but don’t think you’ll have a lot of eye contact if you wear it,” one person wrote.

“Dress four is the only option here. Sophisticated and whimsical. the others are too casual and five is not cocktail (maybe formal),” added another.

“I think four would suit you really well! So would one, but if you aren't super comfortable with the cleavage, then I would go with something else. I think two is unfortunately a bit too casual even if it is your favorite,” a third chimed in.
