PAIGE VANZANT has revealed she got "catfished" by someone pretending to be lookalike porn star Jessa Rhodes.
The former UFC fighter, 29, ditched the octagon in 2020 for a new career in adult content creation.
Paige now boasts around 3.2million Instagram followers, and is relishing her new-found freedom from having to keep a promotion and sponsors happy.
She has frequently been likened to adult star Jessa, who admitted that she too often gets mistaken for Paige.
On her podcast, Paige and Austin: A Kissass Love Story, VanZant told her husband Austin Vanderford about the time she thought she was talking to Jessa online... only to have been fooled.

She said: "I went and DM’d and was like ‘Hey, I’m a really big fan of you, everybody thinks we’re twins.
"And they responded as if they were Jessa Rhodes, they were like: ‘Thank you, I thought we were twins too.’ I got catfished, and they changed their bio on Instagram to ‘my twin @PaigeVanZant.’
“I got totally catfished and then one of my followers messaged me and was like ‘Hey girl, FYI that’s a fan page, her real Insta is this;’ and sent me this real Instagram, embarrassingly funny, I legit got catfished."
Paige later posted a clip of herself recounting the story, captioning it: "I GOT CATFISHED!!!!
"Broke my heart that the real Jessa Rhodes wasn’t actually the person I was talking to."
Jessa, 30, boasts 300,000 Instagram followers.
She said of VanZant: "I actually get that [comparison] a lot. People will come up to me to get photos [thinking I'm her].
"But we haven't ever been in contact. People tag us in the same posts and think it's funny. I am a UFC fan myself though."
Jessa revealed that she'd be open to playing VanZant in a parody porn film.
She then claimed that she'd probably use the parody name "Paige No Pants."

After leaving the UFC, VanZant initially turned to bare knuckle boxing.
She subsequently lost twice in BKFC and has not fought since July 2021, seeing a bout in London postponed last summer.
On whether she plans to return to fighting, and in which discipline, VanZant said in December: "It’s definitely bare-knuckle, and I don’t know if it’s down the road in six months.
"I don’t know if it’s down the road a year. I really just haven’t decided yet. I’m going to leave a lot of that up to my manager and my coaches.
"Just work on this time to get better and enjoy the training and not worry about signing a fight contract right away. But it’s definitely bare-knuckle."
