NETFLIX fans have been left gasping at a gripping new true crime documentary that has left them stunned.
The streaming giant debuted Lover, Stalker, Killer on the site last week with the explosive programme rocking up 10 million viewers in the first two days.
Viewers have been baffled by the true story surrounding a 'twisted' love triangle which resulted in a covered-up murder and incomprehensible deceit.
In the feature-length programme, based on the case from 2012, explains how Dave Kroupa believed he as being stalked and hounded by an ex-fling but the truth was much darker.
A synopsis for the show reads: “Dave was recently out of a long-term relationship and eager to restart his romantic life, so he did what most people do: He tried online dating.

“Liz and Cari were two of his most promising connections, both single moms with winning personalities who helped bring him out of his shell in different ways.
"It should have been an opportunity for this hard-working, devoted dad to enjoy a second chance at casual romance, but it turned into a twisted love triangle, putting Dave and everyone he cared about at risk."
Across the 90 minute film, which utilises real-life interviews with Dave and the detectives involved, it is discovered how Shanna 'Liz' Goylar murdered her love rival Cari Fisher but was not discovered or brought to justice until 2016.
Liz had murdered Cari after becoming jealous over her romance with Dave.
However, she then opted to use Cari for her online identity in order to cover-up her death and began sending threatening messages to Dave who believed that he was being stalked by the deceased woman.
It took years for Cari's death to be discovered with Liz even burning don her own house, with her pets trapped inside, in order to make it appear as though Cari had done this to her.
The baffling story had Netflix fans hooked and left them raving about the series on X - formerly Twitter.
It has even earned an impressive 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes thanks to a slew of positive reviews.
