Paddy Pimblett is open to training with Mark Zuckerberg despite previously labelling the Meta boss a “lizard”

UFC star Pimblett has taken several pops at Zuckerberg over the years as he went viral for calling him out after winning his debut with the promotion. “I'm not really calling anyone out, I just want to call out a company. Instagram, give me my account back, you lizards," Pimblett said.

‘The Baddy’ has often lost access to his Instagram and Twitter accounts because of community violations when he reacts with trolls who abuse him in the comments section. Pimblett called out Zuckerberg again after his second UFC win by saying: “I’m going to punch your head in, I am sick of you. Sick of you shutting my Instagram accounts down when all I do is help charities and help people with mental health problems."

Zuckerberg is a big MMA fan and was even preparing for a fight last year before suffering a knee injury. “The video of him doing pads and then rolling with someone, I got tagged in that about nine million times. “People said ‘Oh, Paddy The Baddy he’s coming for you. I would [train with him] I called him a lizard like but I’ve got my Instagram back now so I’m not arsed. If he ever wants to do some jiu-jitsu then he can get on me," Pimblett told Happy Endings.

Several UFC fighters such as Conor McGregor and Merab Dvalishvili praise Zuckerberg last year when he won gold and silver medals in his first Brazilian jiu-jitsu competition. The Meta boss was teasing a potential UFC fight against fellow tech boss Elon Musk earlier this year, with Musk even proposing the bout should be held at Rome’s Colosseum.

Zuckeberg received a huge boost for a potential MMA debut from his coach and PFL star Khai Wu, who couldn't believe how strong he was when they first trained together. We’re a similar size but man he was strong, I was like ‘Holy crap, there’s no way, this is ridiculous’. It was kind of funny because that always stuck out to me," Wu told Mirror Fighting.

"I think [Alexander] Volkanovski and [Israel] Adesanya said the same thing when they got to train with him. Everybody was sort of like ‘Do you feel that strength?’ It’s not that kind of strength where you can just take some supplements and get really strong because of them, it’s got to come from years of work. It's kind of like that farmer strength, for example a country-side wrestler who just lifted hay all day.”
