MEGHAN Markle may have been told not to appear in Prince Harry's bombshell interview by her new PRs, a royal expert has claimed.

The Duke of Sussex this morning appeared on Good Morning America - but there was no mention of his wife.

Harry and Meghan are in Vancouver this week to mark 12 months before Harry's Invictus Games 2025.

They have been followed by ABC camera crews since touching down in Whistler, Vancouver.

Harry revealed to host Will Reeve that he hopes King Charles' cancer diagnosis will heal his family's rift and opened up on his dash back to the UK to see his dad.

He also opened up on family life - giving a rare insight into Archie and Lilibet's personalities.

However, despite the show promising "an all-new interview with Prince Harry on his life with Meghan", she was not mentioned during the chat.

Royal expert Angela Levin believes this could have to do with her new PR company.

She explained: "It's interesting. It's just about Harry, but I think it was her giving in that this is Harry's Invictus Games.

"But actually she was always there, having her picture taken and looking very glamorous, and that's what she cares about.

"I suspect that her PRs didn't want her to say anything that might change this vision of herself."

Last year the duchess joined WME, which boasts A-Listers Eddie Murphy, Gwen Stefani and Liam Payne on their books.

Ms Levin continued: "They don't mind if Harry gets it wrong. Her PRs aren't really Harry's. They're just Meghan's.

"They don't really mind if Harry gets it wrong and she wasn't the person who went to London to to see the king.

"She wants to keep out of it, and if they said to her: ‘Megan, have you changed your mind now? Do you feel you would enjoy going to London? '

"You know she might give an answer that the PRs wouldn't want you to hear."

Harry jetted back to the UK earlier this month after his father revealed he had been diagnosed with a type of cancer.

He had flown thousands of miles from his California home to be at the King's side - but only met with his dad for 30 minutes.

In today's show, Harry said: "The fact I was able to get on a plane and see him (King Charles) and spend any time with him- I'm grateful for that"

Asked if the King's illness could have a reunifying effect on the family, he added: "Yeah sure.

"Through all these families I see on a day-to-day basis the strength of the family unit coming together.

"Any illness, any sickness brings family together."

It comes after Harry and Meghan were this week slammed for launching a new rebranded website - using their royal titles and crest - amid the monarch's health woes.

They were criticised for not consulting the Royal Family first, after the Queen had banned the couple from using 'SussexRoyal' when they stepped away from royal duty four years ago.

I suspect that her PRs didn't want her to say anything that might change this vision of herself.

A spokesperson for the couple then hit back, telling The Mirror: "We've heard time and time again that certain opportunities are make or break for the couple.

"They're still here. They're still working and pursuing what they believe in, despite constantly being challenged and criticised.

"This couple will not be broken."

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex arrived in Canada on Tuesday to mark one year until the Invictus Games are held there in 2025.

The couple were once again snapped at the Whistler Blackcomb ski resort in British Columbia on Thursday.

They spoke to participants who will be doing skeleton bobsledding as they joined a training session in the run up to the Invictus Games.

On Wednesday, Charles headed straight back to work in London before returning to Sandringham to recover after more cancer treatment.

The monarch, 75, looked in good spirits this morning as he headed to Buckingham Palace for state business.

After going through his red boxes and meeting palace officials, Charles headed back to Sandringham via helicopter for some rest.

The Palace has not confirmed the type of cancer, but it is understood not to be the prostate.

His Majesty is said to have started receiving “pioneering” treatment and will return regularly to the capital for care.

Charles is expected to have further cancer treatment as an out-patient in London this month and the Palace has yet to set a date for his return to frontline duties.

Since 2003, Charles has lived at Clarence House, his official London residence mainly used for working engagements.

Charles personally told Harry about his cancer diagnosis in what is understood to have been a warm conversation over the phone.

His Majesty has postponed all frontline engagements while he undergoes cancer treatment.

It remains unclear when the King will be able to resume full-time public appearances.

He is expected to rest at Windsor Castle, Highgrove and Sandringham over the coming weeks and months.
