Football icon David Beckham is about to be a sight in the museum.
The life and achievements of Goldenballs will be celebrated at the complex of his US football club, Inter Miami.
The museum – solely devoted to the former Man Utd player and England captain, 47 – will include memorabilia collected by David’s dad Ted. It is expected to feature in a Netflix docuseries this year, which promises unprecedented access to Becks’ personal archives.
A source said last night: “David’s dad Ted has kept all of his memorabilia over the years, and all of that is being shipped over for the museum. He has scrapbooks dating back to the very beginning of his career – when he was ten and playing for a local Saturday team.
“He has meticulously kept everything from his son’s days at Ridgeway Rovers, Man United and England. It will be a real trip down memory lane for David.
Beckham's Inter Miami plan dealt first blow which could block Messi transfer“And the timing is perfect, given production is ongoing on his docuseries with Netflix.”
The documentary will include unseen footage of the star as well as interviews with the dad-of-four, his friends, family and key figures from the footballing world.
