A QUEEN fan says her dishwasher conjured up a kind of magic when she saw Freddie Mercury in a teaspoon.
Nancy DeTrana, 49, immediately recognised the legendary frontman’s “little silhouetto” in a water spot on the back of the handle.

She told how her daughter Elizabeth, 13, came running out saying there was “a singer” on the freshly-rinsed cutlery.
Nancy said: “You can see a clearly defined head, a body, two legs and an arm raised up in a fist.
“I saw Freddie straight away doing his iconic pose, it spoke of complete Freddie.”

The college professor, of Knoxville, Tennessee, added: “It was caused by a water spot from the dishwasher.
“It was gone once it was washed again, but I took a picture because I absolutely had to — if you see Freddie you’ve got to take a picture.”
The mum of two posted it online, where many agreed it resembled the flamboyant Queen rocker, who died in 1991.
One wrote in vain: “Don’t clean that spoon ever again!”
But another said: “Kind of looks like Elvis too!”
Nancy said: “I’ll be keeping an eye out for more famous faces in my dishes now.”
