Virgil van Dijk and Alisson have been crucial to Liverpool's success under Jurgen Klopp, having helped the Reds win the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup and League Cup since making big money moves from Southampton and Roma respectively.

However, with Klopp building his Liverpool 2.0 and both players now in their 30s, they are no longer among the club's ten most valuable players according to numbers from Transfermarkt. New signing Dominik Szoboszlai and winger Luis Diaz are tied as Liverpool's most valuable stars, with a market value of £64.5million.

Szoboszlai has been excellent since making the move to Anfield from RB Leipzig over the summer for a fee of around £60m. In 26 appearances across all competitions for the Reds, Szoboszlai has scored four goals and provided three assists.

Diaz, meanwhile, joined Liverpool from Porto in 2022 in a deal that could eventually rise to £50m. With Klopp having a wealth of attacking options at his disposal, Diaz has played 73 games across all competitions and made a total of 27 goal contributions.

Trent Alexander-Arnold is next on the list, with the right-back valued at £60.2m. The 25-year-old came through Liverpool's academy and has become a key player under Klopp, making more than 300 appearances and becoming the club's vice-captain.

Mohamed Salah, Alexis Mac Allister and Darwin Nunez sit joint fourth, with the trio all valued at £55.9m. Salah has become Liverpool's all-time top goalscorer in both the Premier League and European competitions since signing from Roma in 2017, while Mac Allister is another new signing who has made an immediate impact.

The World Cup winner joined from Brighton over the summer and, much like Szoboszlai, has very quickly established himself in the centre of the park. Nunez, meanwhile, has shown flashes of his quality since signing from Benfica in a £64m deal in 2022 but the forward has struggled for consistency in front of goal.

Diogo Jota and Cody Gakpo are next on the list, with the two versatile stars valued at £43m. Centre-back Ibrahima Konate is valued at £32.6m, having been signed by Leipzig for £36m in 2021, while Andrew Robertson rounds out the top ten.

The left-back is valued at £30.1m, having only cost the Reds an initial £8m when he joined from Hull in 2017. Van Dijk and Alisson, meanwhile, only just miss out on the top ten with the pair valued at £27.5m.

Top 10 Liverpool players by value, per transfermarkt: 1=. Dominik Szoboszlai (£64.5m), 1=. Luis Diaz (£64.5m), 3. Trent Alexander-Arnold (£60.2m), 4=. Mohamed Salah (£55.9m), 4=.
