Former Gogglebox star Stephen Lustig-Webb has teased that there's an "uncanny" resemblance between him and an acclaimed actor in a role, which has had fans in hysterics.
Stephen, 52 - who appeared on the Channel 4 show for a decade, before his departure last year - took to Instagram recently to make the comparison. He shared a photo of himself alongside one of Gary Oldman, 65, in a role. The former photo showed Stephen - who had been due to compete on Dancing on Ice this year, but who withdrew after an injury - in a scene from a series of Gogglebox. Whilst the latter photo showed Oscar-winning actor Gary in character as intelligence officer Jackson Lamb in the Apple TV+ series Slow Horses.
He used a hashtag for the show in the caption, alongside #uncanny. Stephen also tagged Gary's wife Gisele Schmidt in the post, with her account on the platform appearing to act as a joint profile for Gisele and her husband.
The post has amassed thousands of likes since it was shared last week. Denise Van Outen is among the celebrities who have liked it. Gogglebox siblings Ellie Warner and Izzi Warner also liked their former colleague's post on the platform.
