She leaves behind four children from a previous marriage and her husband George Kowszik, whom she married just four months ago. Mila, originally from Brazil but living in Boston, had recently revealed that she'd been battling skin disease psoriasis since July last year. "It's been three months dealing with this situation, 80% of my body is affected," she shared online.
In a message to her 60,000 Instagram followers in October, Mila wrote: "Juggling doctors, medications, ointments, and taking a deep breath." Since the news of her passing, fans have been leaving messages of condolence on her posts, according to The New York Post.
