Production on Madonna's "extraordinary life" movie, which was reportedly set to star Julia Garner, has come to an immediate halt – after her world tour announcement.
The Material Girl hit maker's biopic has been firmly placed on the back burner while she focuses on her epic Celebration tour kicking off in July.
Madonna was set to direct the movie herself and reportedly held a 'gruelling' casting process in a bid to find an actress – with hopefuls including Florence Pugh and Bebe Rexha.
Fans have taken to Twitter after news broke of its cancellation, mocking the alleged 'bootcamp' and its rumoured '11-hour days' for auditioning actors.

Others are calling for a documentary of the alleged 'bootcamp', with another fan saying: "Just release footage from the Madonna bootcamp, it's what the people want."
A fourth wrote: "Now they've scrapped the biopic, Gruelling Madonna Bootcamp documentary must happen." While a fifth said: "Another biopic would have been redundant."
Despite the film reportedly receiving backing from Universal earlier last year, Variety announced today that it is no longer in development.

"It’s essential to share the roller coaster ride of my life with my voice and vision."
The Mirror has contacted Madonna's representatives and Universal Pictures for a comment.
