NETFLIX fans are not happy with Kevin Hart's new chart-topping movie as they begged other to not bother 'wasting their time'.

Just days after highly-anticipated film, Lift, was released, it shot straight to the top of the streaming charts.

However, it appears that many wish that they hadn't bothered with some viewers going on to brand the comedy as "atrocious".

Embarking on an epic heist, a crew of professional thieves attempt to undertake what appears to be an impossible challenge.

With $500 million in gold bars available as cargo on a flight, the group decide to attempt to rob it whilst mid-flight.

Despite an intense promotional push, it seems that the critics are also in agreement with the show's 'flop performance' after it landed a rather poor 34% score at Rotten Tomatoes.

Taking aim at the film, fans hit out on X - formerly Twitter - to share their scathing opinions on the show.

One unimpressed fan wrote: "Awful film. Gave up 20 minutes in as made no sense."

Another added: "Was not worth the wait."

A third raged: "Dreadful, dreadful film!"

Before a fourth went on to add: "Swapped to another film after 10 mins."

44 year old comedian Kevin co-stars alongside Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Sam Worthington in the movie.

Having filmed in early 2022 in Italy and Belfast, Northern Ireland, the film was originally due for release in August 2023.

However, the movie was ultimately delayed as a result of the Hollywood SAG-AFTRA strike.
