Millions of people dream of having a comfier bed, but simply can't afford the big expense of a new mattress, not to mention the pain of having to get rid of the old one. Getting a new mattress can set you back hundreds, with the more expensive options out there selling for more than £1,000.
However, many people often don't think about the upgrades they can make to their existing mattress, which can work out so much cheaper. Something as simple as adding a mattress topper can make the world of difference if you suffer from springs poking through or it's become a bit firm over time.
And best of all it can save you hundreds compared to replacing the whole thing. There are various different toppers out there that are made of materials including gel and foam.
They work by simply attaching on top of your existing setup, meaning you could be getting a much better night's sleep within minutes of the topper arriving.
Dunelm is running a January sale, with discounts across a range of homeware items and savings of up to 50%, plus cut prices on mattress toppers. But only days remain, with the offers set to end on Sunday. We've run through some of the toppers worth having a look at before they rise back to full price.
