ERIC CANTONA left fans baffled after he was seen singing on Michael McIntyre's BBC Show.
The Manchester United legend retired from football in 1997 but has continued to make headlines since.
This is thanks in part to the Frenchman's unorthodox apporach to retirement.
And it was on display once again over the weekend as the 57-year-old made a surprise appearance on Michael McIntyre's Big Show on Saturday night.
But it was not simply the fact he appeared which left fans stunned, but also that he was there to SING.

Cantona took to the stage to sing his song The Friends We Lost from his upcoming album Cantona Sings.
He was seen in a red cardigan while wearing a hat and glasses.
Reacting to the performance on X, formerly known as Twitter, fans appeared rather confused at the sensational showing.
One fan said: "Why is Eric Cantona performing on Michael McIntyre’s #BigShow? I have never been more confused!."
A second said: "WHICH demented BBC Producer thought they were in their right mind putting ERIC CANTONA on stage to si-... To, erm, do whatever that was on stage on Michael McIntyre's Big Show??"

A third said: "Half expecting Michael McIntyre to jump out of the downstairs toilet to tell us we are the only family watching Eric Cantona and it’s a prank!"
Another added: "It might be that out of date yoghurt I ate earlier giving me a fever, but I think I'm watching Eric Cantona singing on Michael McIntyre's light entertainment show."
A fifth said: "This is so weird."
He has been on a tour since October last year and will be returning to the stage in April after his album releases on March 29.

Cantona has been seen acting and singing since hanging up his boots.
And asked by McIntyre whether he liked the performing arts as much as football, Cantona said: "I played football, I did acting, going onstage in theatres.
"I think music, to be onstage in music, live in music, is as strong as football."
McIntyre then asked: "So, that's a problem isn't it? When you go on tour, are you worried that the crowd are going to sing more than you, when you go to Manchester?"
Cantona insisted he loves to hear fans sing, saying: "They'll sing, they love to sing and I love them to sing...
"As soon as they listen to me when I sing, yes. In between the songs, yeah. We're sharing time."
Cantona won 11 trophies over five seasons with Man Utd, including four Premier League titles.
He also won the title at Leeds the season before he joined the Red Devils in 1992.
