Stalking terror rocks Coronation Street as barmaid targeted“The bride put on her website that she’d love for the ladies to wear spring colors, but it wasn’t required,” she explained in the post.
Still, she didn’t know if that was the right choice for her.
“I’m apprehensive about spending $200 on a dress I can only wear one season, so I’m leaning towards black, but I wanted to see what y’all thought.”
The dress was floor length, featured spaghetti straps at the top and ruffles on the skirt, and had two cutouts in her midriff area.
That last bit is another aspect she was worried about.
“Are the cutouts too much for black tie? Thanks everyone!”
She noted that the venue is a clubhouse set inside a retirement community by a lake, and that there would be a wide age range of guests.
Most viewers thought she should ditch the look.
“The cutouts are too much skin for a wedding, but it is a nice dress,” one wrote, with another echoing, "I don’t think it’s 100% appropriate for a clubhouse with the cut outs."
A third said it reminded them of “stripper vibes,” and another said it would give the “old geezers at the retirement homes a heart attack.”
