The cast of the second season of the Netflix documentary series Full Swing has been confirmed, with Rory McIlroy once again starring.
However, there are huge changes to the players involved from the first series, with Jordan Spieth, Brooks Koepka, Scottie Scheffler and Ian Poulter all not taking part after featuring prominently last year. Collin Morikawa, Sahith Theegala, Tony Finau, Cameron Young and Mito Pereira also drop out.
They have been replaced with some of the game's rising stars as well as established pros, and the series will also provide behind-the-scenes access from the Ryder Cup, with contributions from Europe and America captains Luke Donald and Zach Johson. The season will premiere on Netflix on March 6.

The Northern Irishman was the main attraction in season one due to his outspoken views on LIV Golf at the time, and he will be again. The 2023 season was a fascinating year on the course for the 34-year-old, enduring more misery at Augusta National by missing the cut in The Masters before a heartbreaking second-place finish behind Wyndham Clark at the US Open.
However, the year ended on a sweet note for McIlroy with victory at the Ryder Cup in Rome. Tears of devastation at Whistling Straits two years before were transformed into tears of joy at Marco Simone Golf & Country Club as the famous old trophy returned to Europe's possession.

Several LIV golf players were involved in season one (Poulter, Pereira, Koepka and more), but only Dustin Johnson remains. The 39-year-old has enjoyed his win to LIV, winning two LIV events and claiming the season title in 2022.
Yet it was a largely anonymous season for Johnson at the biggest events, with a T-10 finish at the US Open his best result by far in the majors.
New stars
With an esteemed cast of players not taking part in the show's second series, they have been replaced by some exciting up-and-coming talent, led by Tom Kim. The 21-year-old South Korean is already a three-time winner on the PGA Tour and appears destined for great things.
Clark was a breakout star on the PGA Tour in 2023, winning the Wells Fargo at Quail Hollow before edging McIlroy to the US Open title and going on to play impressively at the Ryder Cup.
Alex Fitzpatrick, meanwhile, is trying to step out of the shadow of his brother, Matt, rising to 120th in the world after some impressive performances on the DP World Tour.

So much was written and said about the captains, Donald and Johnson, but how was it really behind the scenes? There was rampant speculation of a rift in the American ranks led by Patrick Cantlay and his supposed desire to be paid for his time at the tournament.
There was also talk of the American camp being unsettled by the prospect of Netflix's cameras inside the team room. So it remains to be seen how much access was granted, but the insights of the men in charge of the teams are sure to be fascinating.
