Elsewhere in the documentary, Wendy's son spoke about his mother's dementia diagnosis. Opening up about the verdict given by medical professionals, he continued: "So, I think they said it was alcohol-induced dementia."
Wendy's team issued a press release detailing her diagnosis, which is the same as Bruce Willis', on Thursday. The said: "In 2023, after undergoing a battery of medical tests, Wendy was officially diagnosed with primary progressive aphasia and frontotemporal dementia (FTD). Receiving a diagnosis has enabled Wendy to receive the medical care she requires." Although her team say the diagnosis was new, the documentary (which was filmed over the last few years) tells a different story.
