CATHERINE Tyldesley looked unrecognisable today, after she underwent a dramatic make-over for a new theatre role.
The actress is best known for playing Eva Price in Coronation Street, but her character left the cobbles for France in 2018.

But after quitting the cobbles she has been flexing her acting chops on the stage.

The soap legend has been treading the boards playing the co-lead in a theatre production of Bonnie and Clyde.
The story follows a married couple who are gangsters and go on a crime spree.
Taking to Instagram, Catherine told fans all about her new role.
She shared a slew of snaps which showed her in costume with short curly blonde hair - a stark contrast to her usually long locks.
Catherine said: "The most incredible cast. We are so blessed.
"A brand new family! Outstanding performances - I’m in complete awe!
"It’s a privilege to share the stage with this lot."
Meanwhile, fans recently thought Catherine might be returning to Coronation Street after she was pictured alongside her former co-stars as they enjoyed a birthday celebration together at Thai Khun.
Daniel Brocklebank, who plays Billy Mayhew in Corrie, posted the sweet snap of his friends all gathered around a table at the restaurant.
He wrote: "Birthday meal. I’m so blessed to have these beautiful people in my life. The darkest day of the year & they still all came out. Bless them.

Since Catherine's character was never killed off, the reunion had some fans wondering if she might be planning on making a return to Weatherfield.
Since she left the soap she has continued to be a familiar face on the box, and in 2019 she took part in Strictly Come Dancing.
