Lucy Watson has opened up on the traumatic birth story of her son.
The Made In Chelsea star, 33, gave birth to her first child with husband James Dunmore, 34, last month but has revealed how her labour left her fearing the worst both for herself and her baby. Sharing her birth story on TikTok, she said: "I was really worried about my son and I thought there was a chance we were going to lose him and I really worried for my own life as well."
She continued: “The midwife checked me and his head had come out of my cervix that was like a mass of swelling, she was concerned by that because his head looked so swollen and sore. He was going into my cervix like a brick wall. When she checked me in a few hours, it was the same situation.
"It got to the point where his heart rate was really high, I was exhausted the alarm was going off in our room you can tell everyone was really worried. They came in and said we need to get him out he’s not in a good way. This is a life or death situation and we need to get him out now.”
Lucy revealed she broke down in tears as she didn't want her labour to result in a caesarean section. She admitted: "I cried, I didn’t want to have a c section, especially in an emergency situation and I was really worried about my son and I thought there was a chance we were going to lose him and I really worried for my own life as well. But we went through and it all happened really quickly.”

She explained: "His head was three times the size of what it is now. Then they stitched me up and it’s an awkward thing you’re being stitched up and you can’t actually seen them. But then they put him on my chest and then he calmed down. James and I were hysterically crying, just so relieved that he was ok.”
Lucy and James got engaged after five years of dating after meeting on Made In Chelsea, which Lucy appeared on between 2012 to 2016. They tied the knot in Kefalonia, Greec in 2021 and announced their "miracle" pregnancy in September, 2023.
The couple announced the arrival of their baby boy with an adorable black and white photo showing Lucy holding their son as James kissed her head.
