Hilarous moment flock of 27 sheep chase running teenager down massive hill

The hilarious moment a teenager was chased - by a flock of 37 sheep - was caught on camera.

Chloe Jervis, 18, was on a walk in Edale, Derbyshire, with her family when two rams approached her. The part-time housekeeper started speed walking to get away from them but realised more of the flock had joined.

They chased her until she got to the bottom of the hill where her brother Nathan Jervis, 25, was waiting. Chloe, from Derby, said she now finds the incident "hilarious" but was "shaking" at the time.

She said: "I'd been climbing a mountain all day. I was tired and complaining. I didn't think it could get any worse. I had just gotten to the bottom of the hill. The sheep were scattered all over the field.

"Two rams came up behind me and I started speed walking. Then they all started chasing me. I was shaking after. I find it hilarious now."

Nathan, who filmed his younger sister, counted 37 sheep chasing the teen down the hill at around 6pm on Easter Sunday. The family were surprised the sheep also didn't go for Chloe's 45-year-old mum, a bus driver, who was behind her. Chloe said: "I must have been more appealing than my mum."

When a young couple went for a walk in Lancashire last week, a flock of sheep chased them. Olivia Ripley, 29, ran "screaming" as the animals pursued her and 28-year-old partner Jack Truelove.

The office administrator said her boyfriend's bright red walking attire that day must have alerted the animals. Jack, who works as an estate agent, started taking photos and videos throughout the walk.

Olivia said: "It was muddy and rocky underfoot so I started to panic. I also can't bear knowing that anything or anyone is chasing me so I was completely freaked out. I thought that by screaming and being hysterical that it would scare them off but it seemed they were more interested by it. I was shouting for Jack and he just found it absolutely hysterical.

"He didn't try and get behind me or scare them off though so deep down I think he was wary too. He was wearing a bright red hat and an orange and red coat so I wondered if they were intrigued by what he was wearing."
