FORMER Real Housewives of New York fan favorite Dorinda Medley knows a thing about digging up dirt - and cleaning up after it.

Known for her love of hosting, especially at her lavish Bluestone Manor in the Berkshires, the Housewife spilled the beans on how to best clean up her house guest's never-ending spills.

With seven bedrooms and six bathrooms in her home, it's no wonder she has plenty of potential cleaning catastrophes.

The 59-year-old has also never met a mess she couldn't put in its place — that's stains, of course, not any of her co-stars.

HOUSEGUESTS BEHAVING BADLY

If you are ever invited to be a guest at her estate, which played a prominent part in the Bravo reality show, be warned: You better clean up after yourself if you ever want to come back.

"I'm always amazed that people never wipe down their sinks and I have all the products in there for them to use," she told The U.S. Sun.

"I just can never understand how people leave their own sinks a mess," she added.

There is also some kitchen etiquette she wants you to follow.

"I cannot stand when people leave a messy refrigerator or when they spill something or leave it open and let the stain become sticky," she said.

"That's a real pet peeve of mine."

She might not be able to clean up reality TV messes, but she does know one item that works in the real world.

Her favorite Clorox disinfecting wipes can get rid of everyday spills including raw eggs, coffee table rings, juice, and more.

Dorinda — who has teamed up to promote the cleaning brand — also has some Clorox wipe commandments.

"I believe that you wipe as you go along. Wipe and throw away," she said.

"I have wipes in every single room.

"They're so easy and unobtrusive. You just wipe stuff down and throw it away.

"Since Covid, all these things have become more important than ever.

"I can't imagine walking into my house or any house without washing my hands now."

TALK TO THE HAND TOWEL

Another bad guest behavior always has her throwing in the towel.

"One thing that drives me crazy is when people take their makeup off on my towels," she said.

"I provide wipes, so I don't get it," she added.

Dorinda said she now pre-treats everything and puts it in the wash with Clorox2 for Colors.

"Everything is gone," she said.

She explained how cleaning at her estate is a "constant thing."

"I'm always having guests and hosting people," she said.

"You have to make sure your country house is kept clean because you don't want mice or anything to come in."

BYE BYE BACTERIA

Once her guests are gone, she also wants to make sure that all of their germs go with them.

"One thing I always do is as soon as everyone leaves is we wipe down the house."

By "we," she means she and her housekeeper, Len, who has been by her side for 18 years.

"We wipe down every knob, every doorknob," she said.

"Bacteria and viruses live on surfaces — we're all very aware of that now."

She also takes out another secret weapon: Clorox Disinfecting Mist, which "makes a big difference at the start of your clean," she said.

For bathrooms, she loves how "easy" the foaming clean toilet bomb toilet bowl cleaner is to use.

"You throw them in there and there's no effort," she said.

"It's no work and you feel like it's so clean."

A SPARKING CLEAN SOIREE

Still, Dorinda enjoys entertaining people and shares her top tip for making any soiree a sparking clean success.

"When you create an experience so that people are really involved in the event or activity, those are the best times."

She also knows that it's up to the host to keep a clean home.

"When you're hosting and entertaining not everybody runs their home or their lives the way you do and you can't overly impose that on people," she said.

"You have to find a way on how to take care of all this stuff. It's ultimately up to you."

While she prefers to use products to clean up her messes, she does recall her mother and grandmother using vinegar around the home, as well as down the garbage disposal.
