The platform features over 500 free live TV channels spanning news, weather, and local content like PBS.

On top of this, Local Now also includes over 20,000 movies, TV Shows, and documentaries.

And the platform isn't slowing down anytime soon as it recently received four new channels, Cordcutters News reported.

The first is the PBS Antiques Roadshow, which follows experts from the country's leading auction houses.

These specialists appraise antiques and uncover fascinating truths about unique items.

Another channel that is available starting this week is Space Science Now.

This program journeys to the furthest parts of our universe and explores deep space.

The Boat Show is a popular TV show dedicated to ocean lovers and boat owners.

Lastly, Impact Gospel will now be available on Local Now for those looking to uplift their spirits.

Users can access Local Now via smartphones, smart TVs, and streaming devices like Roku and Amazon Fire Sticks.

and even their gaming consoles, like the PlayStation 5 and Xbox.

Launched just one year ago, Freesteam is Sling TV's free, ad-supported streaming platform.

CRACKLE

Another option to check out for free streaming is Crackle.

This free service offers more than 3,500 movies that you can watch at any time.

The app was originally named Grouper but was bought by Sony in 2006 and ultimately renamed Crackle.
