CHRIS Martin and Dakota Johnson are reportedly engaged to get married after six years of dating.
The Coldplay singer, 47, is said to have popped the question some time ago after getting the backing from his ex wife Gwyneth Paltrow.
An insider told The Mirror: "The couple got engaged a while ago and have kept the news private. But now they are being open about it with their circles.
"They have been besotted with each other from day one so taking this next step was inevitable. They are in no rush to plan the wedding but are just enjoying making their commitment official."

Dakota, 34, has maintained a close relationship with Gwyneth since first getting together with the musician in 2017.
Dropping hints
The news of their reported engagement comes after the Fifty Shades of Grey star declared that she loves Chris' kids "like her life depends on it."
She said: “I love those kids like my life depends on it. With all my heart. How do I feel about motherhood? I’m so open to that. I’ve gotten to this place where I really want to experience everything life has to offer.
“And especially being a woman, I’m like: ‘What a magical f***ing thing to do. What a crazy, magical, wild experience. If that’s meant to happen for me, I’m totally down for it. We’re not here for very long, so if I’m meant to be a mother, bring it on.”
In a new interview with Bustle, she also referred to Moses as her stepson, which sparked speculation the pair were either engaged or married already.
One of Dakota's interview questions was shared on Reddit, where fans questioned her wording.
When asked about her thoughts on the discourse around the rise of polyamory, Dakota remembered something Moses' friend had previously said.
"My stepson had a friend who was saying that at her school, some kids are identifying as cats. And I was like, 'Ok, good for you,'" Dakota said in her response.

Dakota and Chris met through mutual friends after frontman Chris famously "consciously uncoupled" from ex-wife Gwyneth in 2015.

In 2020, The Sun told how Chris had bought Dakota a commitment ring.
The pair briefly split in 2019, but reunited with Gwyneth helping them.
In February 2021, they moved in together to a $12.5M Malibu mansion.
Gwyneth previously revealed to Harper's Bazaar that she "adores" Dakota.
“I love her,” Paltrow said of the actress.
“I can see how it would seem weird because it’s sort of unconventional. But I think, in this case, just having passed through it iteratively, I just adore her."
