A WOMAN has sparked fury after insisting her parents should pay for her children's meals when they all go out for dinner.
People have branded the woman as spoilt and entitled after her own sister revealed the situation makes her uncomfortable.
Posting on social media, she said: "When you get invited out for lunch or dinner, as you were invited to join, is it expected for the person who invited you to pay?
"It's just me and my sister as siblings but she keeps getting shirty cause our parents invited us to join them for dinner and then didn't pay for her and her family.
"This has happened several times between mutual friends and our extended family and our parents.

"I don't know what it is but I'm the complete opposite. I always pay my part or offer to split the bill."
She added: "A couple of weeks ago my mum and sister were discussing where to eat.
"I didn't mind so let them chose. So mum made a suggestion, it was mum, me, sister, my kids, her kids and she said as our mum suggested it she said she should pay for it.
"My sister is saying people are rude if they invite you out and don't pay. She's married and her partner agrees with her."
And social media users have been left flabbergasted that the woman thinks it's other people who are the rude ones.
"She sounds so spoilt", fumed one.
"Pay your own way and if you can’t afford to then don’t go in the first place."
A second wrote: "That’s so entitled! Always pay for myself unless the other person insists."
A third echoed: "I would never go with the assumption someone was paying for me, I would also decline the offer to come if I couldn't afford it.
"If it's then offered to me or someone decides then to pay great but generally speaking I go with my own money."

A fourth added: "I’d never assume that someone else would pay for me and my family. That’s really spoilt and brattish in my opinion."
Meanwhile, a fifth reasoned: "If it's a big birthday, wedding anniversary or something like a party type thing I'd say the people organising it would pay but if it's just lunch or dinner everyone pays their own."
