A WOMAN has found herself brutally mum-shamed after she gave her daughter, seven, hair extensions from Shein.
The mum, only known as @theoriginalshoppingqueen, took to TikTok to explain why she'd made the decision to attach fake hairs to her seven-year-old's head.

''She sees all her seven-year-old friends with the longest, most beautiful, thickest hair, and she's quite sad about that,'' the Shein fan explained in the video.
To give the sweet girl ''the hair that she's been dying for'', the mum decided to order some cheap clip-in hair extensions from the China-based online retailer.
Are there illegal baby names? Surprising monikers that are BANNED in other countries, from Sarah to ThomasSharing how she attached the set to her natural hair, the mum added that this doesn't happen every day - only ''for dress-up''.
''And it makes her happy, so yay!''
But despite the child being visibly joyful with her brand new hair, the reaction on the platform, where the video's racked up over 4.3million views, was mixed.
Thousands of people flocked to comments, where the opinions were divided - some praised the mum, others were slamming her.
One concerned beauty lover shared their experience with the popular treatment, writing: ''I got hair extensions really young and it damaged my hair and made me hate my short hair.''
Another agreed, adding: ''It’s unnecessary! She is beautiful just the way she is. And it’s way too long.''
Someone else chimed in: ''Love this but daily use of clip on extension will weaken the hair at the clips and will cause hair loss in those spots.
'' Very cool for special occasion but definitely not daily.''
Luckily, it wasn't all negative comments, as loads of TikTok fans also raced to hit back at the meanies.
''You guys, her mom is just trying to make her happy okay,'' wrote one.
I'm scared I've ruined my daughter's life because of her nameAnother said: ''Well done mumma for helping your precious girl dress up and feel confident even if it’s just pretend for a little while!! Ignore the haters.''
There were also a few of those suggesting remedies to help the hair grow thicker and longer, with one advising a special sleep routine.
''Suggestion, trim her hair, add rosemary and Jamaican castor oil night time, don't wash too many times neither blow.
''And braid her natural hair before she sleeps.''
''Castor oil. Put on for an hour and then wash it out,'' a beauty lover advised.
