Caprice Bourret was left shaken after hearing a string of bombs go off during a trip to Israel.

The former supermodel and actress is no stranger to philanthropy work and often puts her name to charities and organisations. Now, the 50-year-old has travelled to Israel, meeting those who survived the atrocities of October 7, as well as the relatives of those involved. During her trip, she also met with Israeli President, Isaac Herzog and First Lady, Michal Herzog.

On her trip, the mum-of-two spoke candidly with members of the local community and also visited a hospital, making time to talk to the staff and patients affected by the incidents. Caprice also toured Kfar Aza, a kibbutz (community) in southern Israel. The area which is now restricted is close to the border with Gaza. While at the kibbutz, she took part in a video screening about the ongoing incidents.

Speaking exclusively to the Mirror, a source said: "Caprice looked sombre as she visited the devastated southern kibbutz and saw the aftermath and spoke to residents who lived in there. She visited what was left of a home shared by a young couple that was shot hundreds of times, targeted with grenades.

"During the trip, someone captured Caprice on film jumping up in horror as bombs went off in the near distance. They were heard every minute. She had to get back on the coach because she was frightened. The ground was shaking and the group started to laugh at her because it is just a part of life out there." One clip shows an explosion sounding closer than previous bangs, with Caprice leaping out of the air before walking away in shock.

Exclusive footage shows Caprice in conversation when a bomb is heard going off in the background. The stunned model could be seen letting out a shocked expression as she struggled to contain her emotions as she jumped due to shock. Despite Caprice's horror, her tour guide continues talking – showing how this has tragically become an everyday part of life.

During her trip, Caprice also visited what was once the family homes of those affected by the conflicts. Images show how the homes have been attacked by bullets and grenades, leaving a lasting mark of the atrocities on those impacted by the invasion.

Of Caprice's meeting with the First Lady, a source said she was keen to discuss the sexual brutality against men, women and children on October 7. One woman, Amit Soussana had previously explained how she endured hell after being held hostage by Hamas following the invasion. She was also sexually assaulted by a guard during the invasion.

The Israeli lawyer previously said she was forced to perform sexual acts on her captor, known only as Muhammed, in a child's bedroom while she was held against her will. He would threaten her with a gun, forcing her to do whatever he wanted. It wasn't until a ceasefire in November that she and 21-year-old Mia Schem were released together, allowing them to go home finally. Ms Soussana said she was beaten and tortured as well as sexually assaulted, revealing everything in a tell-all interview with The New York Times. It was 55 days of hell, the 40-year-old said.
