Gary Goldsmith revealed there is a "tell tale" sign in Kate and William’s interactions with each other that reveals everything about their marriage.

He may have only been in the Celebrity Big Brother house for a matter of days but Kate Middleton ’s uncle Gary Goldsmith has already been very loose lipped about the Royal family. He’s aired his views on Prince Harry ’s wife Meghan Markle, who he clearly isn’t a fan of, describing her as "a spoke" in the wheels of the gang.

Self-made millionaire Gary, has also revealed he believes Prince William is carrying a huge burden with Royal duties whilst trying to care for his wife Kate, who is recovering from "planned abdominal surgery" and worrying about his father King Charles, who is receiving treatment for cancer.

And in a conversation with TV icon Fern Britton, Gary, who has a reputation as something of a troublemaker, said he thinks Prince Harry would be welcomed back into the fold if he chose to come back to the UK, despite the numerous TV interviews and books he and wife Meghan wrote that threw the "family under a bus in such a dramatic style".

It was after such an interview that Gary - the younger brother of Kate’s mum Carole - previously opened up about the state of Kate and William’s marriage. In Harry and Meghan’s Netflix documentary, Harry suggests that many men in the royal family have married women "who fit the mould" rather than opting for unions that have developed organically.

Speaking in the bombshell series, Harry said: "I think for so many people in the family, especially obviously the men, there can be a temptation or an urge to marry someone who would fit the mould, as opposed to somebody who you are perhaps destined to be with."

At the time, people obviously wondered if he was referring to his brother William, as did Gary, who jumped to his niece and her husband’s defence and revealed their relationship was incredibly natural.

In an interview with GB News in 2022 Gary said: "I've seen them together in very unguarded moments – at Carole's house, where the first time I ever met William, he was making cups of tea and Kate was cooking supper."

He also spoke about a "tell tale" sign he believed meant they were genuinely compatible: "They are very comfortable with each other and they tease each other, which I think is a great tell tale that people get on – when they can have fun at each other's expense. It's done in a very tongue in cheek, very loving way. Touchy feely. It's a very natural relationship."

Gary also added that the "true love story" was born out of "friendship first" - something William himself has opened up and said he believed was an important factor in their future together.

The couple met as students in 2001 whilst they were both studying at St Andrews University in Scotland, but it’s believed they didn't become a couple until 2003.

They briefly broke-up in 2007, with Kate later saying she "wasn't very happy about it" and it was then that Gary jumped to her rescue. He allowed his nieces Kate and Pippa and nephew James to take a holiday retreat at his villa in Ibiza to escape the intense press attention surrounding their split. The young couple reunited the next month, and eventually went on to marry in 2011.
