MASTERCHEF judge Gregg Wallace has an impressive car history that stretches from a wholesome Citroen to an iconic Jaguar.

It comes as no surprise then that Wallace, 59, has a pretty remarkable garage after his TV success.

Since 2005, the 59-year-old has co- presented MasterChef,  Celebrity MasterChef, and MasterChef: The Professionals on the BBC with John Torode.

Wallace was also recently dragged over the coals on social media after a 'day in the life' article he authored was widely mocked and left him "deeply saddened".

But he could be scrolling those tweets from the comfort of one of his choice motors.

Wallace has an eclectic mix of motors, having driven a white Ford van, a Jaguar, Suzuki, a MG, and even a family-style Citroen.

Speaking to the Daily Record, Wallace related one story where he was trapped in the Canary Islands with the ash from an Icelandic volcano preventing him from flying back.

Wallace and his family made it back to the Spanish mainland only to need to drive all the way back to Britain.

They did part of the way in a Citroen Picasso which Wallace said he really enjoyed driving.

He said: “We hired it and put me, my girlfriend and my teenage kids in it, and all the luggage, and I thought, ‘Wow! This is fine’. And we drove the length of Spain and I thought, ‘I am really liking this car. This is a nice car.’

“I liked it so much that when I got back to England I bought one in a charcoal grey. I’ve had it for two years and it’s just brilliant."

Wallace like the fridge in the motor just to the left of the steering wheel.

His first motor was a white Ford Transit van, which he used for work as a window cleaner.

That was followed by a grey Ford Ghia automatic which he said he would strap buckets of water and ladders to.

That was followed by a white Suzuki 4x4 with red stripes on the roof when he lived in Kent.

Moving to London and beginning his fruit and veg career as a warehouseman, he changed to a bright red MG Midget.

Wallace has drive a Jaguar XKR convertible which he said he really loves.

In 2012, his Jaguar XKR convertible was snapped on the A249 in Detling, Kent, going 30mph above the speed limit.

He was fined £1,300 given six penalty points on his licence and ordered to pay £85 to the court.

He was also spotted in the motor in 2013 after he hit the headlines for fighting with magazine boss Paul Bates in the bar of a posh Worcestershire hotel.

Wallace has also revealed that his dream car is a Bentley convertible
