IVAN TONEY and Nathan Collins were involved in a heated argument after Brentford's thrilling 3-3 draw with Aston Villa.

The Bees were two goals down away from home but an incredible turn around saw Mathias Jorgensen, Bryan Mbeumo and Yoane Wissa score to put them in front with ten minutes to go.

In the end, they had to settle for just a point after Ollie Watkins' equaliser.

And after the final whistle, Toney let out his frustrations at team-mate Collins.

The England striker confronted the centre-back, shouting at him and angrily waving his arms around.

He then gestured the 3-3 scoreline at Collins by lifting up his fingers.

It appears Toney was fuming because he made a run into the box in the 98th minute while Collins was on the ball.

But the Irishman chose not to put the ball into the area - instead opting to keep possession and seemingly settle for a point.

Replays show that Toney's run looked mistimed and he would have been offside if he had received the pass.

All appears to be forgotten now as Collins posted a snap of him and Toney on Instagram with love heart emojis.

Tension were high as Brentford were desperate for the win as they sit just four points above the relegation zone.

Thomas Frank's men and Everton both have 29 points, with Luton and Nottingham Forest on 25 points.

Burnley and Sheffield United look set to fill the other two relegation spots as they are six and ten off safety respectively.
