Strictly Come Dancing stars Ellie Leach and Bobby Brazier are reportedly on 'good terms' after their rumoured romance ended.

Former Coronation Street star Ellie, who won the 2024 contest alongside professional dancer Vito Coppola, is said to have been in a relationship with EastEnders actor Bobby earlier this year. But the romance apparently fizzled out six weeks after the Strictly Live! Tour ended, with the pair remaining close pals.

The stars are said to have grown close during the tour, which took them across the UK from January until the middle of February. However, just one month later, it was claimed that Ellie and Bobby had gone their separate ways, and in an interview this weekend, the 23-year-old said they are 'great friends'.

A source told The Sun in March: "Love blossomed between them when they were in close quarters on the tour, but once that ended they both spent much less time together. That gave them space to think about the future, which is likely to take them in very different directions over the coming year or two. So they decided the best thing to do was quit while they were ahead and while they were still pals, because they both really cherish the friendship they have."

Over the weekend, it was reported that Ellie was 'upset' over claims her reported relationship with the son of late Big Brother star, Jade Goody, was not the 'real deal'. A source told New magazine: "Ellie is really hurt that people are saying her relationship is fake - it's definitely not. They're trying to keep things under wraps, get to know each under and just have fun.

"But these comments, including that it could be a showmance like with Vito, or that it's fake, are causing pain." They continued: "It's still early days for them, but their relationship is genuine. It's upsetting to hear things like: 'It's a set up', but their friends and family are telling them to rise above it and not to listen to them."

In an interview with The Sun on Saturday, Ellie, 23, refused to comment on any romance but did say that she and Bobby, 20, are 'great friends'. She said: "We'd obviously built an amazing friendship during the show, but it was really nice to be able to spend time with each other – and with everyone – on the tour."

The former Corrie star said that "time constraints" on Friday and Saturday during filming meant they didn't "really get to spend time with each other" but once they were on tour they "were able to be together and learn about each other."

Ellie explained the reason why they found each other in the show. She said: "I think doing that at the same time as someone else gives you something to relate to and to bond over. We're great friends. We got along really well, and we still do." The outlet added that Ellie "wouldn't confirm or deny that she and Bobby were together".
