A VETERINARY nurse whose Siberian husky mauled her three-month-old daughter to death has avoided being struck off.
Karen Alcock, 41, was training the dog, Blizzard, in woods when it attacked baby Kyra King.

She was tragically pronounced dead at the scene, after her parents attempted to perform CPR, a court heard previously last year.
Last year, she got a suspended jail term for owning a dangerous dog.
But a tribunal heard she was coerced into the training sessions by violent partner Vince King.
The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons ruled the case did not make her unfit to practise.
Alcock, of New York, Lincs, said in a statement read to the tribunal:
In a statement read to the tribunal, the mother said: “I accept that I pleaded guilty to the charge, however I would have never have deliberately put Kyra at risk, and I have suffered a personal loss that is indescribable.
“I have not been able to work much, and not in veterinary practice, since Kyra died, however if I feel able, I would like to return to veterinary nursing at some point in the future.
“I hope the RCVS will understand that Kyra’s death was a truly tragic event and not one which I could have foreseen.
“I do not believe what happened that night impacts my fitness to practise as a veterinary nurse and hope you will consider my conviction compassionately.”
Alcock has yet to return to veterinary work.
