The first day of play at Augusta National for Thursday has been delayed due to bad weather at Augusta National.
With thunderstorms due to hit the course and heavy gusts of rain, organisers announced in the early hours that play would not start until at least 9am local time (2pm BST). They later confirmed the first group would tee off at 10:30am local time (3:30pm BST).
World No.1 Scottie Scheffler and world No.2 Rory McIlroy are scheduled to go head-to-head in the opening round. The two highest ranked players in the world will be joined by Olympic champion Xander Schauffele at 1:12pm local time (6:12pm) after their 10:42am start time was pushed back.
