Justin Rose has showed off his state-of-the-art recreational vehicle (RV) used for rest and recovery ahead of this week's opening major championship of the year at the Masters.

Rose is on the hunt for his first ever victory at Augusta National, having failed to get hold on the iconic green jacket in his previous 16 starts. The Englishman does boast an impressive Masters record, having only missed the cut on two occasions, whilst finishing inside the top-10 six times, including as runner-up in 2017.

This time around though the Englishman will no doubt be keen to go one better, and one thing that may help him is his trusty on-the-road therapy truck named 'Bus Rosa'.

In an interview with Golf.com, Rose opened up on his gym on wheels. "Word has got out a little bit on tour, but this is definitely something I tried to keep as my own little secret," he said of the RV. "I actually think there is some cryptic meaning behind the name Sub Rosa.

"Obviously Sub, you flip it the other way round that is Bus. Then Rosa is clearly not a stretch to rose. It kinda means a secret meeting place." Heading into the bus, Rose shows off his decked-out kitchen area and coffee machine, right alongside his exercise bike, as well as a red light therapy bed.

Then venturing into what would be the back bedroom of a typical RV, Rose has included two hydrotherapy pools (one hot, one cold) to further aid his recovery process whilst out on tour, with an infrared sauna also included, which the major champion reveals he uses for 'detoxing'.

Rose returns to Augusta after another impressive showing last year, where he went on to finish the week in a tie for 16th, 10 shots behind eventual champion and his Ryder Cup teammate Jon Rahm. He is of course already a major champion having won the 2013 U.S. Open champion, and despite moving closer to the end of his playing days than the start, Rose believes he still has what it takes to land win No. 2.

Speaking at Augusta last year, he said: "I think obviously when I did win my first major, I was very much on an upward trend. I felt like it was a progression. You never want to say a matter of time because we all know some great players haven't won championships. It's different to that,

"I think. I think I'm definitely more capable for sure, or as capable as I was then. Yeah, I wouldn't say I'm trending into it. I'm having to find my game again, and with that, having to find the confidence again."
