They’re famous for their hit song, We’re not Going to Take It.
But now 80s heavy metal band, Twisted Sister are on the verge of taking a lucrative offer to reunite.

With the exception of one performance at the Metal Hall of Fame in January 2023, the five piece band have steadfastly refused to get back together again. Until now.
In an interview last year, frontman Dee Snider, 69, refused to entertain the idea of a get together He said: “I’m a man of my word, and I said that we were retiring in 2016. And that’s it.”
Taylor Swift's next studio album revealed after tenth release broke recordsBut now, in an interview with the Hook Rocks podcast, the lead singer appears to have changed his tune, now that the offers are coming in thick and fast.
He said: “As a result of all the bands retiring and dying, the offers get bigger and bigger for the holdouts to come back. We retired in 2016, so we’re on 8 years now of not playing, with no intention of coming back. But my father he says, “Everything before the word “but’ is bulls**t- but at some point you’ve gotta say, “Well how can I say no to that?”
Snider also said that he’s been in discussion with the other band members to devise a plan of action, should the offers become too generous to refuse.
“He said: “There’s a little bit of that conversation,” he said. “And that’s both physically how we’re gonna do it and on a number of other levels.”
Since playing their last show at the end of 2016, Snider has focused on his solo career, releasing two studio albums: For the Love of Metal 2018 and Leave A Scar.
Then in 2023 he admitted in that he was ‘done’ with making solo albums.
Perhaps he is keen to get back together with the other band members with whom he made his name.
