A FLIGHT to Turkey was forced to divert due to an "unruly passenger".

The plane jetted off from Manchester Airport at around 7.30pm on Tuesday.

The Sun Express flight had been set to land in Dalaman but was forced to land in Belgrade, Serbia, instead.

Police stormed the plane and the passenger was pulled off around 10.30pm local time.

A FlightRadar24 snap showed the plane's diversion as it circled over the Serbian capital.

Footage shared on social media that was said to have been snapped on the flight appeared to show a man pointing and swearing at another passenger.

A woman also appeared to be involved in the row.

SunExpress said: “Our flight XQ505, which was scheduled from Manchester to Dalaman on 9th April, had to divert to Belgrade due to an unruly passenger.

"Upon arrival, the passenger was removed from the aircraft by local police and the aircraft continued to Dalaman after the passenger's disembarkation.

"The safety and security of our passengers and crew is of the highest priority to SunExpress.”
