Stacey Solomon has reflected on a heartbreaking family loss.

The TV personality lost her beloved pooch Theo on Boxing Day, 2021 and has taken to Instagram to pay a sweet tribute to the 11-year-old chihuahua. Stacey reflected on the heartbreaking loss as she shared a clip of a blossom tree at Pickle Cottage, which reminds the mum of her late canine companion.

She captioned the Instagram Story: "Theo's blossom tree is in full bloom. It's the most magical tree that brings so much comfort and happiness just like Theo. Can't wait for my morning cuppa and chats in the sunshine under here with Theo.

"I can't even describe how much I miss Theo. But every year this tree has bloomed since we lost her it gets better and better and bigger and more beautiful and I know it sounds silly but it feels like she's saying, 'I'm happy where I am and I'm always growing with you.'"

Back in 2021, Stacey revealed her heart was broken after saying goodbye to her 11-year-old beloved pet. “Sweet dreams Theo,” her post began. “The best friend we could have ever wished for. Our hearts are broken.”

"Yesterday at home in our arms we had to say goodnight to our Theo. 11 wonderful years. We were so lucky to love you Fifi and we will never stop. My lap has never felt so empty. I miss you so much already. My little girl. But oh my goodness the memories and the love you brought into our lives.”

The TV personality went on to say how much Theo, affectionately nicknamed Fifi, meant to her and her children: Zachary, 15, Leighton, 11, Rex, four, and Rose, two, and one-year-old Belle. In the January following Theo's death, Stacey revealed she and her family had given a much-needed home to dog Teddy.

She wrote: "Last night we rescued a dog. But today I’m not sure who has rescued who. We miss you so much Theo. I hope you’re looking down from heaven smiling, knowing that peanut will no longer be so very lonely and that a doggy who really needed a family now has one."

Stacey recently revealed she's received "10 million messages" from concerned fans about her beloved dogs Teddy and Peanut after sharing a worrying video from Pickle Cottage. The Sort Your Life Out, star, 34, worried fans when she shared a video showing her daughter Rose had dropped raisins on the floor.

Raisins are potentially lethal to dogs, causing gut problems and in serious cases, kidney failure. One commented: "I bet you've had ten million messages. Dogs shouldn't eat raisins", followed by some laughing emojis and hearts.

Confirming the number, Stacey replied: "Literally 10 million." Clarifying her dogs weren't in any danger because they were unable to get to the raisins, the mum-of-five continued: "This is why I was telling Rose we have to pick them up and they can't be eaten by the doggies and there are no doggies around Belle's high chair when usually that's their favourite spot. But just in case any of that still wasn't clear... DON'T feed raisins to dog."
