ONE driver's neighbours kept stealing their parking spot - so they came up with a drastic solution.
The student, who lived in a rented off-campus apartment, took to Reddit to explain the guerrilla warfare.
The man said a number of people parked in the driveway using paid-for parking spaces or were simply blocking him in.
Some of the "offenders" actually lived in the same block while others were just visitors.
As a result, he put slices of smelly, expired provolone cheese onto the cars.

His method, called "cheese drop", can be replicated for just 13p by grabbing a pack of 10 from Tesco for £1.30.
But many social media users were less than impressed by his petty "war".
One said: "Why not just have their cars towed? I don't get it. You went to all this trouble for people you clearly disliked.
"Having their cars towed would have cost them money and would have probably solved it quickly."
Another commented: "It seems they got more into your mind than you got into theirs.
"A single time getting their cars towed would have saved you years of thought."
A third quipped: "This is a level of pettiness I aspire to."
Others offered advice on how to get revenge.
One wrote: "Super Glue does a number on wipers. The rubber rips off when the wipers are started."
It's not the first time motorists have gone to extreme lengths to deal with people stealing their parking spots.

One driver revealed on Reddit that when someone took his spot he decided to park across the front of the bay blocking the woman in.
Meanwhile, another jilted motorist who had lost their spot took revenge in an ingenious way.
A mum blocked in a driver who parked outside her house by moving her motor within inches of the car to prove a point.
The clip, shared on TikTok, shows how she pulled two cars up extremely tight to the motor across the grass from her home.
"Good luck getting out," she added.
