IT hasn’t been an easy few months for Ellie Goulding after she confirmed the breakdown of her four-year marriage to art dealer Caspar Jopling.

But she is pouring her heartache into a new album and has debuted one of the songs, where she opens up about the split.

Ellie performed the track, titled Easy To Love Me, during a spectacular one-off performance at London’s Royal Albert Hall on Thursday, where she was backed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

And to make it even more emotional, her estranged husband Caspar was in the audience.

On the track, she sings: “Every mistake I made was the last one, yet you still fight for us.

"I know it’s not easy to love me but I’m yours if you want me.

“I know it’s not easy to love me but I’m yours, so completely.

"I tried to soak up all the water you had to wade through just to reach me.”

Later on in the track, she continues: “Maybe I’m too much for you. All the questions, they hurt my head.

“Finally found something true I might lose, but you know I’ll be there.”

Speaking about penning the song with Jack Rochon, who worked on Beyonce’s Cowboy Carter album, she said: “We wrote this, but it’s what I do — I write from the heart and I write what I’m feeling and think about the consequences afterwards.”

‘Sounding good’

During the concert, which was also attended by her close pals Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice, who she celebrated with at an after-party, she confirmed the track had been written for her sixth studio album.

Ellie said: “I’m writing a new album. I’m hoping it will be out this year.

"I’ve been working pretty hard and it’s sounding good.”

This year marks 15 years since her debut single Under The Sheets was released, and she used her time on stage to reflect on her career.

The Miracle singer said: “I’ve been doing this for a while and it keeps bringing new surprises.

“I feel like I’m so grateful for the ups and downs of my career and the rollercoaster it’s been.

"There’s always something weird and different around the corner.

“It’s never been straight- forward and it keeps things spicy and interesting.”

Here’s hoping it’s a steadier uphill path from this point onwards.

Long way from jet set, Jade

NEW York, Los Angeles or perhaps the Caribbean – which glitzy destination did Jade Thirlwall choose to shoot the video for her debut solo single?

Well, unfortunately for her, it was Deptford in South London, so probably one of the least glamorous places there is.

The former Little Mix star has been filming her promo in the streets there this week, dressed up as an over-the-top celeb being followed by hordes of paparazzi.

Jade was seen in a bleach blonde wig, shades and blue fur coat as she walked up the High Street in front of the cameras.

Something tells me that’s not a regular sight around those parts.

But I will reserve judgment until I have seen the whole thing when it comes out in the next few months.

OASIS fans got a treat yesterday after Noel and Liam Gallagher released an old live recording of their hit Supersonic to mark its 30th year.

The brothers performed the song at the Limelight in Belfast to 500 fans in 1994, just minutes after learning debut album Definitely Maybe had hit No1.

David Neely, who was the booker at the venue, said of the show: “It was a sell- out 500 people at the gig and tickets were only £6.75.

"The Limelight was the right venue for the right band at the right time.”

If you put it on loud and shut your eyes, you can imagine you were there too.

Cara looks skate

CARA DELEVINGNE is back on board, quite literally, with modelling.
She was spotted with a skateboard on the Croisette in Cannes while shooting a new ad campaign.

But her stylish white jumper and trousers would be more at home in a chic French bistro than flipping 360s on a skateboard.

After making millions on the catwalk, Cara has been focusing on acting.

She is starring in Cabaret, and I was blown away by her recent West End debut.

It’s been a rough few weeks for Cara after her LA mansion burned down last month.

Hopefully there are brighter days ahead.

RUSSELL CROWE has been added to the line-up for Glastonbury.

The Gladiator star will bring his show, dubbed Russell Crowe’s Indoor Garden Party, to the festival’s acoustic stage at the end of June.

During the event, Scouting For Girls, Stornoway, Ocean Colour Scene and Gipsy Kings will also perform on the stage.

Russell first launched his Indoor Garden Party in 2009 when he played outside a London pub.

He said: “It’s an event, a band, a happening. It’s fluid. The personnel changes, but it’s always big. It’s like a festival where I gather people I admire, musicians and storytellers, and we put on a show.”

New pools for Dua

I CAN’T wait to watch women everywhere try to recreate Dua Lipa’s looks in her music video for Illusion.

The New Rules chart-topper looked incredible in a mesh bodysuit and black bikini as she filmed the new video in the Montjuic pool in Barcelona.

The video also sees Dua lying on the edge of an infinity pool in a black leotard.

It will be giving lifeguards something to worry about for the rest of the summer.

Tom's up for movie boss role

SPIDER-MAN star Tom Holland is casting his web a little wider – and branching out into film production.

Insiders tell me Tom, below, has trademarked a new company, Dream Ballet Pictures, which is being set up for the “development and production of motion pictures”.

It is a big move for Tom, who has more than proved himself as a brilliant actor.

The name of his new business is a sweet nod to the start of his career, which saw him scouted by the English National Ballet to audition for their stage production of Billy Elliot when he was just ten.

My insider said: “This is a really exciting move for Tom.

“He directed a short film nine years ago and he had a real flair for it.”

Tom has said before: “I think directing is something I would really enjoy – something I think I will be pretty good at.

"I would really like to be involved in a movie from the earliest . . . point.”

I’d wish Tom luck, but he clearly doesn’t need it.

LILY ALLEN and her Stranger Things star husband David Harbour are playing the trolls at their own game.

She told the Parenting Hell podcast: “There’s this one troll that is obsessed with David’s ex and hates the fact he married me.

“She just s**t- posts everywhere, all over the internet.

“Me and David set up a production company and named it after her.

“We just thought, she will be so utterly confused when her name comes up.”
