The entrance hall of Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan's mansion has divided fans after footage of the renovated property was shared on social media earlier this week.

Mark, 37, and Michelle, 36, have created their "dream home" in Essex, following a three-year renovation project. The couple have shared updates about the property, which is reportedly worth around £3.5 million, in recent years.

Following their apparent housewarming party last year, which is understood to have signalled the completion of the renovation, Mark has continued to post content on their dedicated home account on Instagram. He took to the platform on Thursday to give fans another look inside it.

He shared a video that showcased the property's entrance hall, which included footage from before the renovation, as well as clips of it now. He reflected on the transformation in the accompanying caption and highlights features such as its "sweeping staircase" and the "centrepiece" chandelier.

Mark wrote in the caption: "When we designed our house & first had visions, it was always the hall that everything was going to be built around. We showed Chris [from business Escalier] our dream sweeping staircase and we remember his words 'I will bring that to life exactly' when we show you the CGI you will see how he did that from the structure to balustrades & the handrail, they absolutely nailed it!!"

The presenter continued in the recent post: "Then it was about choosing the centrepiece …. The chandelier, this had to be right. Michelle had a vision of golden raindrops falling from the sky, she wanted it to be more than just a hanging ceiling light but more of a piece of art. We worked alongside [Chantelle Lighting] and created just that. The day we walked into the showroom to see the finished product (video to follow) we were absolutely blown away!!"

The post has amassed more than 40,000 likes since it was uploaded. A number of fans shared their thoughts in the comments section, with many of them complimenting the home that's been created for the married couple.

One follower wrote: "I bet you pinch yourself every five minutes! Such an amazing home - well done." Another fan said: "What an amazing achievement for you both." Other fans described it as "beautiful," "dreamy" and "stunning".

Someone commented: "Classy and stylish." Another follower reacted: "Everything about that entrance is perfection." One person wrote: "Absolutely exquisite." Whilst fitness coach Joe Wicks wrote in his response: "Looks beautiful mate."

"Beautiful. Hard work pays off. Wishing you both every happiness and love in your forever home," another fan reacted to the post. Someone else commented: "Absolutely stunning! Out of this world." Another said: "Looks unreal."

Not everyone was impressed though. Sharing their thoughts, one person said: "Not for me. Rather have a proper home [that's] cosie - this looks cold and [like a] show home." Another follower suggested similarly, having written in their comment: "[It's] not very cosy and more like a show house."

"It looks like [a] hotel," read another commented. Someone else reacted: "It looks unlived in." Whilst one person said: "Be a nightmare to keep clean especially them lights." They weren't alone in questioning how it would be cleaned.

Others suggested that it was "too big" for the couple. One person said: "Beautiful home, but seriously for two people - way too big." Another fan asked: "Why do two people need such a big house? Always baffles me." Whilst someone said: "Beautiful house but isn't it way too big for two people."

Sharing their thoughts on the platform, one person wrote: "Absolutely stunning! But far too big, for me, would much prefer luxurious but on a more small and cozier small. You would need an intercom to shout to someone downstairs."
