At one point, the duo took part in their final Ant vs Dec, which was a penalty shoot out presided over by Stephen Mulhern.

Heading outside, Ant and Dec had five shots each, and Dec came out triumphant.

However, once he was crowned champ, Ant decided to rugby tackle Stephen - who was dressed as a giant trophy - to the ground.

The pair laughed before the show went to an ad break, and once it returned, Ant and Dec were back in their tuxedos.

However, Ant was dabbing at his face and Dec asked what had happened.

Ant revealed he had cut his face on Stephen's costume and was bleeding.

Taking to X - formerly Twitter - one Takeaway viewer shared a screenshot of Ant wiping away the blood and wrote: "Blood sweat and tears going into this final show."

It was all going on during tonight's show, as earlier, Ant was forced to apologise after a guest swore live on air.

It was during the Ring My Bell segment when one of the members of the public on the doorbell said 'Oh s**t' when they didn't realise they had to press the bell a second time.

Ant quickly said: "Apologies for any swearing from Mr Stevenage there."

Saturday Night Takeaway viewers took to X - formerly Twitter - to discuss the chaos the segment always brings.

One wrote: "Naughty Ben swearing. Ring My Bell."

Another added: "Apologising for swearing then they crack a joke about his helmet being on show! Brilliant!"
