Janette Manrara has sent support by concerned fans after revealing she was undergoing treatment after years of not wearing sunscreen.
The BBC Strictly Come Dancing star, who welcomed baby Lyra last summer, told fans she was undergoing her second microneedling session in a bid to rejuvenate her skin.
Janette said: "Had my second session of micro-needling today w/ @theaestheticsdoctor. We've been working together to help with my pigmentation from years of not being careful in the sun in Miami! (Side note: WEAR SUNSCREEN!)"
"I didn't have anyone to look after Lyra so she came along. Luckily she behaved so, so well. Such a proud mummy! We went a little deeper this time w/ the needles, but it was not too painful at all. Now we wait for the skin to naturally rejuvenate over the next few days."
"I love #DrAhmed because he understands that I want to work on my skin, but as naturally as possible. I'm not afraid of aging, but if I can give myself a little boost and help, why not?"
What Ola and James Jordan really ate and did to shed 7stOne fan told her: "You are beautiful. Don't do crazy things to your skin when you are perfect already!" another said. "I swear by micro needling. Love it," another wrote. "Your skin is amazing. The sun has done it good. I'm 56 and I never wear suncream and my skin is good too," another posted.
Earlier this week Janette revealed she was struggling to get up for work on BBC show Morning Live as her daughter wasn't sleeping.
Taking to Instagram Stories to confide her anxiety over her daughter's sleeping patterns, the Strictly Come Dancing pro turned It Takes Two looked close to tears.
"The eight month sleep regression has been a very real thing for the last couple of days," she agonised. The term refers to babies aged between seven and 10 months who have usually slept well up to that point, but then begin to wake more than usual throughout the night.
Janette then tried to joke about the situation as she continued: "Luckily the team at Morning Live are amazing and they always have a delicious coffee there. "If I start falling asleep on the pink chair [though], you know why!"
Janette and her husband Aljaz Skorjanec welcomed their first child last summer. After deciding to undergo IVF treatment, Janette unexpectedly fell pregnant naturally.
The pair are loving life as. family of three but say they would be delighted to add to their brood this year if they could. "We obviously want more children, but after the process we went through to have Lyra, you quickly learn there are never any guarantees in life," said Janette.
