LIVERPOOL will be looking to bounce back after losing 3-0 at home to Atalanta in the Europa League.

Standing in their way on Sunday is Crystal Palace. But the struggling Eagles are five without a win and should be the ideal opponents for Klopp’s men to get their season back on track.

Liverpool vs Crystal Palace betting preview

Liverpool’s season is in danger of unravelling. Out of the FA Cup, dropping points at the top of the table, and after a disastrous 3-0 home defeat to Atalanta in the Europa League, the Reds are on the brink of Europe elimination as well.

But let’s not get too carried away. Liverpool are still joint top of the Premier League.

This match is more than winnable. And it also represents a chance for the Reds to improve their goal difference. Something which is going to be vital at the end of the season.

They face a Crystal Palace team that is in free fall at the moment. Since the Eagles’ 3-0 win over Burnley on February 24th, they have drawn two and lost three.

Two of the defeats were against Spurs and Man City. But Oliver Glasner’s team only picked up two points in a three-match run against Luton Town, Nottingham Forest and Bournemouth.

That’s not good enough and could land Palace in trouble if things don’t improve pretty soon. Unfortunately for Palace fans, we can’t see anything other than more misery when they visit a wounded Liverpool on Sunday.

Both teams to score and Liverpool to win (Spreadex)

Liverpool have gone eight games in all competitions without keeping a clean sheet.

And while Crystal Palace might not be the obvious side to be scoring shed loads at Anfield, their Head coach Oliver Glasner was bemoaning their lack of goals ahead of the Manchester City match last weekend.

His players responded with two goals against the Champions.

Whether Palace adopt a similar more attack-minded approach at Liverpool remains to be seen. But if they do, then both teams to score and Liverpool to win looks to have a good chance.

Alexis Mac Allister to score or assist (bet365)

Last Sunday’s 2-2 draw with Manchester United is the first match in seven that Alexis Mac Allister has failed to be involved in a goal.

In the six previous Premier League fixtures the Argentine had scored three and assisted four.

In a match where Liverpool will have a lot of the ball, expect Mac Allister to have an influence.

Caoimhin Kelleher 3+ saves (Sky Bet)

There’s a doubt about who will be in goal for Liverpool on Sunday.

Alisson is supposed to be available to come back in, and Klopp may regard this as the ideal time to bring his No.1 keeper back into the side.

Liverpool have struggled to keep clean sheets in recent weeks, and that hasn’t always been the fault of the goalkeeper.

Despite dominating the match at Old Trafford last Sunday, Caoimhin Kelleher still had to make three saves. And if Liverpool are as sloppy at the back again this Sunday, whoever is between the sticks against Crystal Palace could see their fair share of action.
