Jesy Nelson, the former member of Little Mix, is tipped to star in Holly Willoughby's new survival show on Netflix after taking a break from stardom. Having recently travelled around the globe for leisure, it seems like the songstress could now make a living from her adventurous side.

The singer is rumoured to join Bear Hunt, Holly and Bear Grylls' upcoming Netflix series. Instead of laying down tracks in a studio, Jesy is expected to immerse herself in the stunning surroundings of Costa Rica, with filming starting off next month.

An insider opened up to The Sun: "Casting agents have approached Jesy to see if she would be interested and have deep pockets to ensure it's worth her time financially. She has a huge fanbase and the reality challenge series would be the perfect comeback for her. Filming takes place for a few weeks so she won't even be away from home and her creature comforts for too long. Jesy will be incredible."

Aside from an amusing turn last year on the Great Celebrity Bake Off, where she was criticised for attempting to knead cake mix with her long nails, Jesy has been enjoying downtime away from public attention. The pop star posted a friendly announcement to her adoring Instagram followers last summer, simply stating: "Hey guys! So for a long time I've really wanted to go travelling but never had the time to do it. I've got some really exciting things coming up with work and my music, but until then I'm gonna take the summer off to travel the world. I'm going to be off my social media, I love you all so much and I'll see you when I'm back."

However, Jesy made an unexpected return to her Instagram account in January, sharing several pictures from globetrotting adventures with boyfriend Zion Foster. Having previously split in August following an intense nine-month affair, they managed to rekindle their relationship. Jesy's groundbreaking debut single 'Boyz' had topped the charts at number four in the UK in 2021.

However, she parted ways with her recording label before launching her follow-up track 'Bad Thing', which unfortunately did not resonate with her supporters. Surprisingly, Jesy was seen splashing out £150,000 on a Mercedes G Wagon G63 shortly after passing her driving test. The chart-topping artist was spotted fuelling her luxury vehicle at an Essex petrol station in January before taking it for a spin. Rumour has it that Jesy is contemplating producing a documentary to share her side of the story regarding her departure from Little Mix.

Jesy left the band abruptly in December 2020, citing mental health issues. It is suggested that the hiatus since her withdrawal has made her keen to open up to fans about her reasons for leaving Little Mix.

An insider spilled the beans to The Sun's Bizarre column, revealing: "Jesy has had a really rough ride since leaving Little Mix. So much has been said about her and she wants to go on the record and speak directly to her fans about everything that has happened."

They added: "Jesy's solo career has been a difficult road to navigate. Last year she had to put the brakes on her album and now she is preparing to forge a fresh path. This documentary could help her set the record straight and allow people to see what it has been like for her."
