LYRICO Steede was just 17 years old when he had his life tragically taken away from him.
A new TV documentary will focus on the methods used by detectives to track down the killers of the teenager who was a victim of knife crime.

In a statement read in court, Keishaye Steede, Lyrico's mother, said she had "never experienced such devastating pain".

She added: “I haven’t been angry. This character that you see, that’s who I am — it’s not a front, and it’s the same character my son had.
“He was a good, loving boy.
"All he wanted to do was see his mum, be with his sisters ... he loved his daddy, loved his nana and his uncle.
“This takes a lot to stand here and do this, but I’m doing it anyway for him.”
What happened to Lyrico Steede in Nottingham?
On February 13, 2018, Lyrico tragically lost his life.
He was lured to a park in Bulwell by a 16-year-old girl, whom he had met on Instagram and Snapchat.
He was then chased a total distance of 600 metres before he fell over and his attackers carried out a frenzied knife attack on him.
This happened shortly before 7.30pm in Stock Well.
Lyrico sustained 18 slash and stab wounds to his body in the attack.

Detective Chief Inspector Hayley Williams
Detective Chief Inspector Hayley Williams, who led the investigation, paid tribute to the teen on the year anniversary of his attack.
She said: "He did not do anything to contribute to his death. Sometimes the public will say 'he must have done this or done that.'
"He was not carrying knives that night or drugs. He was just going on a date.
"I would like to pay tribute to him, he was a lovely lad, and his family, especially how they have spoken out against knife crime."

A 17-year-old boy (at the time), who cannot be identified, and Remmell Campbell-Mille were found not guilty of murder but guilty of manslaughter at their trial.
The teen girl who set the trap was handed a six-year sentence for manslaughter.
Senior Investigating Officer Detective Chief Inspector Hayley Williams said: “This was not an attack in the heat of the moment.
"This was a cold and extremely calculated attack on a teenage boy with the clear intention of stabbing him multiple times.
"They carefully coordinated on exactly where and when they would attack him and made efforts to conceal their movements, including disposing of phones and getting taxis from unlinked addresses.”

The series will be broadcast weekly on Channel 4 from Monday, April 15, 2024.
