Former TOWIE star Chloe Sims has opened up about her relationship with Lionel Richie's 29-year-old son, Miles.
The 42-year-old, who has a 14-year-old daughter called Madison, ditched sunny Brentwood last year, making the move to LA with her family. The clan decided to head state-side to carve out a career in the US, filming their reality TV show House of Sims, and Chloe has had "fun" dating in Los Angeles.
And the Essex native has been spotted out and about numerous times with Miles, who is 13 years her junior, after the pair hit it off at the Emmy's. They've since been spotted out in LA, holding hands and clubbing.
But Chloe recoils as she recalls their first meeting, admitting she made an embarrassing blunder at a sit-down dinner for the Emmy's, where she was Vas Morgan's plus one. As Vas and Miles are friends, he came to sit with Chloe, who said she was "minding my own business" at the time.
Speaking to Mail Online, she admitted: "I did know he was Lionel Richie's son yes… embarrassingly, I had a couple of drinks, and I accidentally introduced him to someone else as 'Richie', I said, 'This is Richie' and he said, 'My name is Miles...' And I died inside." Miles is the song of singer Lionel Richie and ex wife Diane Alexander.
Amy Childs prepared to get cruelly mum-shamed after big decision about her twinsBut despite them spending time together, she insists she is very much single, adding: "Miles is really lovely, really nice and really fun, he's very handsome but my status is single and I'm not in anything serious. We are seeing what happens." Chloe added that while she's in the UK for six weeks, she wouldn't say no if asked out on a date, reiterating she is "definitely single". She went on to add that she wants her next relationship to be "serious", stating she is keen to "settle down" and find her "person".
After moving to the US with her sisters Frankie, 29, and Demi, 27, Chloe revealed the shocking news that the once tight-knit siblings have had a devastating fall out and haven't spoken for six months. The public argument took place after filming House of Sims, which is available on Netflix now. Chloe, who was executive producer of the series, said her sisters left LA in October after the fall out.
Chloe said: "The show was an incredible opportunity but, in a way, it has come with some downfalls. It has caused a big rift with my sisters. We are not on talking terms today. We haven't spoken since they left LA and that would have been in October/November time. I have not seen or spoken to them since so filming series three will be awkward.
"To hear some of the things they said to me was really heartbreaking and I genuinely wasn't expecting it... I was shocked to be honest. This is not a comfortable subject for me at all…" she told the Daily Mail.
