TikTok star Kyle Marisa Roth sadly passed away, at the age of 36, her family confirmed earlier this week.

The much-loved content creator was no stranger to controversy, rapidly rising to prominence on the video sharing platform after weighing in on celebrity gossip and entertainment news. Known for discussing ‘blind items’ (gossip stories that don’t name the people involved) from the entertainment world, she often began her videos with her catchphrase: “You want more? I’ll give you more!”

Amassing more than 195k followers on the social media platform, her bold, upbeat dissection of current events and celebrity news made her a much-loved celebrity satirist, who since the news of her death was posted on LinkedIn by her mother, Jackie Cohen Roth, and her sister, Lindsay Roth, on Instagram, citing her ‘humour and intelligence’, was called a ‘ray of sunshine’ and ‘legend’ by her fans.

Here we look at some of her most ‘controversial’ celebrity news…

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

Talking about the fact Harry had received more inheritance from his Grandmother, the late Queen, and his mother, Princess Diana, than his brother William, she said: “Harry’s been bankrolling this whole time, good for him. The ginger haired one might have got a larger inheritance from his grandma than his brother, but it won’t do Meghan any good unless she can pry it from him while they are still married.

Perhaps a bigger ‘marketing’ budget for American Riviera Orchard? There are articles you can read on how they won’t spend that inheritance from Princess Diane. I personally don’t give a f**k.”

J-Lo

Famously calling her ‘JLULU’ instead of J-Lo, the TikTok star posted a 43-part series on the American actress and singer, ‘deep diving’ into everything she found ‘underhand’ about the ‘narcissistic’ celebrity. The posts clearly riled the star, however, with Marisa Roth saying in one of her posts: “J-Lo copyright got my account banned, she didn’t like we were using clips from her film to point out all of the lies and narcissistic attributes she has, so a lot of your favourite creators might be gone because of the narcissistic piece of s**t J-Lo is.”

Another post said: “You guys are asking how I know that JLulu calls the paps on herself, because I f*****g report on this every day. Everyone knows except you guys! She calls the paps on herself, she does it every single time because no-one else would f******g care!”

JAY-Z

Speaking about the cancellation of Jay-Z’s Made in America festival, the rapper’s two-day music festival held every Labor Day weekend in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she said: “By the way, before I forget, Jay-Z’s Made in America festival has been cancelled for the second year in a row; the prominent A-list rapper thought there would be a fair chance he would be in jail by the time labor day rolled around, so he cancelled his festival. Why does Jay-Z think there is a fair chance he will be in jail? We will find out soon because we are doing a deep dive.”

Diddy

On a 2009 party that Diddy co-hosted with the late Kobe Bryant, she said: “Diddy believed he was above the law, but today I believe he learned a valuable lesson when three of his homes were raided and two of his sons were publicly arrested – you are not above the law.”

Princess Charlene of Monaco

Talking about the most recent sighting of Princess Charlene of Monaco, she told her followers: “Speaking of princesses not named Katherine, we have a very rare Princess Charlene of Monaco sighting and related blind item, which I don’t blame her for. At a recent event she was so high on pills she could barely talk. This is necessary to tolerate her f*****g husband, who is an ‘absolute rake’ as they say in Bridgerton. This is the most f****d up marriage. This is where I want the green line test,” she said, referring to a test that states that a man who leans into and towards a woman in a photo feels insecure and ‘lower value’ around her, indicating that a relationship is either doomed or unhappy.
