COPS are still hunting a crazed crossbow fiend after two attacks left the victims and other locals terrified.

A man suffered a neck injury when the mystery menace struck in the latest incident on Thursday.

Ten days earlier, Nazarine Cazley, 44, was shot in the back of the head in the same square in Shoreditch, East London.

Residents of the trendy neighbourhood now fear for their lives.

Nazarine was taken to hospital and a doctor removed the dart.

Her husband Clifton said: “I can’t believe that somebody could do something like this. She is living in fear.”

Police linked the two attacks as the hunt continues.

Local Marcus Patton, 53, a graphic designer, said: “People are now frightened to death.

“Police have been going inside some of the blocks. This almost feels like a sniper to me.”

He added: “It’s crazy to see how easy it is to buy a crossbow on Amazon. I went online after these attacks and I found one for £28.”

Det Chief Supt James Conway of the Met said: “I understand local people will be distressed by these incidents, but we would urge them to go about their business.”
