A man carried one of her cats which looked visibly distressed. The kitty was wrapped in a blanket, safe from the flames, as it was taken to a car to get away from the hectic scene.

One person was injured during the ordeal. Plus, there was somebody staying on the property who needed to be treated for smoke inhalation. However, Cara was not home on the property, but was instead in London. Cara was seen in London later in the day leaving The Kit Kat Club theatre in London after playing Sally Bowles in Cabaret on London's West End.
