A woman was allegedly pushed onto the tracks at a Glasgow train station tonight, with police arresting a man on suspicion of attempted murder.
Emergency services rushed to Hyndland Station at around 6.30pm tonight after they received reports of the incident. British Transport Police confirmed that a man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
One person was taken to hospital but they are not believed to have serious injuries.
A British Transport Police spokesperson said: "Officers were called to Hyndland station at approximately 6.30pm today (Saturday 20 April) following reports of a man pushing a woman onto the tracks.
"A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. The victim was taken to hospital as a precaution but, fortunately, is not believed to have been seriously injured.
